Biography:
Aashika joined Hamilton Cardiology Associates in February 2022. Aashika was in a direct 5 year physician assistant program straight from high school. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University in 2017 and later received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in 2019. After graduating, Aashika initially started out in Family Medicine at a small private practice, where she provided acute and chronic outpatient care in Pompton Plains, NJ. She later transitioned to working on the frontlines over the past 1.5 years as a Hospitalist PA at RWJ Somerset. Aashika was primarily responsible for hospital admissions and inpatient follow ups including patients hospitalized for COVID-19. As a hospitalist, Aashika has worked closely with a variety of specialists but has always had a strong interest in cardiology.
