BIOGRAPHY:
Lei received her Bachelor of Medicine at the Shanghai Second Medical University in P.R. China. She practiced medicine in China for a few years before immigrating to the United States. While here in the US, she obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for over twenty years. She has worked in many areas of the hospital but the majority of her nursing experience was in critical care. She continued with her education and obtained her MSN from Rutgers as a Nurse Practitioner. She worked with a hospitalist group at RWJ-Somerset on the telemetry floor for three years prior this position. She also performed stress tests in her free time when the need arose. Lei joined Hamilton Cardiology Associates in 2019, the familiar place – RWJ telemetry, but now at Hamilton instead of Somerset.
