BIOGRAPHY:
After practicing as a Registered Nurse for eleven years in a variety of clinical settings including critical care and cardiothoracic surgery, Shanda completed her training as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Health in 2012 from UMDNJ School of Nursing. Since then she has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including Lourdes Cardiology as an Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining Hamilton Cardiology Associates, Shanda had been employed at Virtua Health Care System-Mt Holly as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner. She also has extensive experience in Long Term Care and Home Call Medicine, and has been a clinical instructor for LPN Students. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America and the Heart Rhythm. She has completed a certificate course which is a Electrophysiology training course with online, in class didactic coursework as well as hands on training to further her Electrophysiology knowledge and training.
