Joined Hamilton Cardiology in August 2021. She graduated from St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing in 1996 and completed her BSN from the University of Phoenix in 2006. After a 20 year career in nursing working in a multitude of clinical areas including med-surg, telemetry, ICU/CCU, interventional radiology and the EP lab, Tonya received her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Rowan University in 2016. Thereafter her primary experience as a Nurse Practitioner has been with Virtua Cardiology, where she was consulted on both inpatients and outpatients. Additionally, Tonya has shared her clinical expertise as a preceptor for advanced practice student nurses in acute care at Rowan University.
