Biography:
Dr. Wingfield joined Hamilton Cardiology Associates in July 2010. A
Graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center and General Cardiology training in Cardiovascular Diseases at Drexel University College of Medicine – Hahnemann University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Cardiology Fellow. He returned to New York Presbyterian Hospital for Interventional Cardiology training.
Dr. Wingfield is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Medicine, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. In addition, he completed Level II training in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Transesophageal Echocardiography. His areas of focus include Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease. Dr. Wingfield is the Vice President of the Medical Staff, Chairman of the Department of Cardiology, Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab and former Secretary/Treasurer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Hamilton where he is currently Chairman of the PCI Task Force and serves as a member of the Medical Executive Committee, the credentialing Committee, Medicine Peer Review, Medical Quality Council, and Utilization Review. At St. Francis Medical Center, he is the Medical Director of the Vascular Lab and a member of the Utilization Management and the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee.
